The Summer Coupler acts as bed sheets that also hold your sleeping pads and sleeping bag in place. There are two separate spots underneath to hold two separate sleeping pads in place. They hold up to a 20" wide pad and will not work with a double wide sleeping pad unless you cut and restitch the straps underneath. Any Semi Rectangular Western Mountaineering bag without a hood will zip into the Summer Coupler including the TerraLite, Alder, Ponderosa, Sequoia, and Bristlecone. Personally I use this for summer camping with the Western Mountaineering Alder and 2 Regular size Therm-a-Rest Luxury Map sleeping pads.

Warm & Roomy – Bought this fantastic bag for my wife to accompany me winter camping in SE AK. She reports it is warm and was able to sleep comfortably in it with a light base layer, cap, light down top &.
Amazingly warm sleeping bag !!!! – I have owned this sleeping bag for several years now that I bought from a big name competitor who no long has this available. I will say that I only gave a fraction of the price they are bringing.
May lose small children in loft – I am a Boy Scout leader and we do annual snow camping trips to mount baker. Never super cold, maybe 0F. Always drippy from my imperfect cave construction.
This Bag is super warm! – I used this bag on a trip to Canada. The temperatures ranged from -1 to -38 for the five days we were out.
