Product Information
The people at Western Mountaineering are pretty proud of their Caribou MF 35 Degree Down Sleeping Bag, with its MicroLite XP breathable microfiber yarn that's densely woven to create a high-thread-count material that naturally fends off moisture. Since the fabric's weave is largely responsible for its weather-resistance, you don't have to worry about it wearing off, washing out, or de-laminating. A DWR coating enhances this water resistance, but without sacrificing the bag's remarkable breathability. All that tech protects the 850-fill down, which stays lofty for toasty warmth. This box-baffle mummy bag is cut wider for broader shoulders and a more comfortable fit. It also features a breathable taffeta lining for friction-free comfort and mobility. Weighing in at a mere pound and a quarter, this is Western Mountaineering's lightest-weight Microfiber Series bag, ideal for summers spent hiking in the mountains or touring the country on two wheels.

Marcus –
Other sleeping bags make fun of it’s diminutive stuffed-size. – This thing is tiny. You may think they shipped the wrong stuff sack with it, but trust me, it fits in the XXS sack. Like most sleeping bags, the temps rating is a little exaggerated.
David –
Perfect summer, late spring & early fall bag – You can’t go wrong with this bag in mild to just freezing point temps – extend it’s range 3 degrees or so with a good set of Merino wool longs, socks & a hat – OR – use it as a quilt on hot.
Kerrie –
Not the bag for me! – First of all, let me clarify. The bag is made extremely well. I don’t have a complaint about workmanship or quality. I just realized that I am not a mummy bag person.
Timothy –
Packs extremely small, keeps me warm down to the 30’s; Great WM quality. – When my Western Mountaineering Antelope is too warm, anything above 30, I turn to this wonderfully made bag. It compresses easily into it’s XS bag, light as a feather (so to speak), but does.
Kenneth –
High quality, light weight and compressible! – I was looking for a bag for summer and shoulder season use that offered a much lighter and more compact alternative to my existing Marmot bag. Since receiving this bag I have been nothing but.
Mister Dark –
Long term winner! – I bought my Caribou used off of Whiteblaze a good 6 years back. It has been my go-to sleeping bag for dozens of trips, some taking me down to the 20’s.
Fish –
Comfort in the backcountry – This is the most comfortable mummy style sleeping bag I have ever used, and I’ve used a few. I’ve taking it down to 30 degrees, with a light base layer, and slept like a baby.
Jonas And Romulus 2018 –
Excellent Bag! – After using this bag in the Wyoming backcountry this October, I was pretty impressed with how warm it was for only having a 35 Degree rating. I slept in a T-shirt and long underwear and had.
