I bought the Lancer from the big retailer. Researched many “entry level” kayaks and the Lancer had the best options for me. I have no prior experience with kayaksonly canoes.

I got the Lancer a couple of weeks ago. I finally went out today at Deadmans Basin. At some points it was calm but some times it was almost white capping. It did great though.

Bought this yesterday afternoon and put it in the water this morning. Easy to handle. Tracks well and takes boat wakes (slow) very good. Comfortable. I like that it came with a paddle.

I purchased a pair of these at Walmart in Oak Harbor WA. The more I used it, the more I liked it. Even when waves came from the port or starboard sides, the boat handled it.
